The Swift Current Broncos and the Chilliwack Bruins meet for their only match-up all season tonight at the Credit Union iplex.

The Broncos shoot for their fourth straight win, as the Bruins begin their East Division road swing.  The Broncos sit in 7th place in the Conference, and 3rd in the East Division.

The Bruins have never scored against the Broncos in three all-time meetings.  They sit in 7th place in the Western Conference, and feature former Legionnaires Zach Habscheid and Shayne Neigum.  They're coached by local product Marc Habscheid.

Face-off is at 7:30pm; action on the Eagle 94.1FM begins at 7:00pm with the pre-game show.

The team hosted their skills challenge last night.  The Breakfast Boys, Chance and Jon from the Eagle 94.1FM, were the guest coaches as Team Chance beat Team Jon, 36-16 in the skills competition.

The Broncos and some Swift Current minor hockey players competed in the fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy, and breakaway relay.

Taylor Vause won the fastest skater with a time of 13.73; Graeme Craig had the hardest shot at 89mph; Andy Blanke won the accuracy challenge with 9 targets hit in 12.33 seconds; and Mark Friesen won the battle of the goaltenders.
