Jon Groenheyde
New Broncos goaltender Jon Groenheyde makes his Swift Current debut tonight at home against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
Groenheyde came to the Broncos from Edmonton in a trade for Jordan Peddle this week.
The club is hoping he can help limit their goals against. Swift Current has allowed 26 goals in 5 games so far this season.
Lethbridge is coming off a 5-4 shoot out loss in Regina to bring their record to 2-3-0-1. The Broncos are 1-3-1-0.
The Broncos are holding "Beat Breast Cancer Night" at the Credit Union i-Plex. Some money from ticket sales and funds raised through game used stick auctions will go towards breast cancer research.
Swift Current's also plays at home on Sunday night against Edmonton.
