The Swift Current Broncos drop the puck on a three game road trip through the Central Division tonight in Cranbrook.

Six points out of a playoff spot, the Broncos will try to stay in the mix in the final week before the WHL trade deadline.

Assistant Coach Andy Schneider says they have to play like their season is on the line every game. "That's the mentality that we have right now. This is playoff hockey for us, if we don't step up and play hard from now to the rest of the year, we're not going to make it. So that's how we're approaching every game right now as do or die"

Tonight's game against the Kootenay Ice will also be the debut for 2011 Broncos bantam draft pick Dakota Odgers. He is the son of former NHLer Jeff Odgers and has spent this season with the Yorkton Harvest in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA league. He is currently among the Top 20 league scorers with 16 goals and 27 points .

Our pre-game show starts at 7:30pm on The Eagle 94.1 FM.
