The WHL Playoffs are back at the Credit Union iPlex.

Tuesday night the Swift Current Broncos will play host to the Moose Jaw Warriors in game three of their best of seven opening round series.

After earning a split in Moose Jaw, Broncos forward Lane Pederson says the team is looking forward to playing at the iPlex.

"I think everyone is pretty excited to get back to Swift and play in front of our home fans," he said.

"They have shown unbelievable support over the last stretch of the season and throughout the entire season so I think everyone is pretty excited, and we just hope it's loud and they're into it."

The scene shifts to Swift Current with the two teams tied at one game a piece.

The Broncos rode a 40 save shut-out from Jordan Papirny in a 2-0 game one victory, while Moose Jaw battled back from a 2-1 third period deficit to defeat the Broncos 3-2 in game two.

So far, there has yet to be much separating the two teams.

"It's playoff hockey, it is going to be tight," Broncos Associate Coach Ryan Smith said following the game two loss.

"There is not a lot between the two teams. They are a very good team with some quick players and good goaltending. They line-up very well, and there wont be in runaways in this series."

For many of the Broncos, playing a post-season home game will be a new feeling.

One of their 17 playoff rookies, Sahvan Khaira, who was named third star in game one, says they are all taking energy from the new experience.

"Definitely the intensity is higher out there, there is just an extra step you get in playoffs," he said.

"For a lot of us it is our first crack at it, so there is definitely more energy coming from that."

Game three between the Broncos and Warriors is scheduled for 7:05pm from the Credit Union iPlex.

You can listen to game three live on The Eagle 94.1 with Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey beginning at 6:30pm.
