An inconsistent effort for the Swift Current Broncos last night in a 4-3 loss to Regina.

Stepan Novotny got the game off to a fast start with a pair of goals in 33 seconds in the first period, and Jordan Evans added a goal in the second to give Swift Current a 3-1 lead after two.

But early in the third, the Pats broke out with three goals in 1:18, and former Bronco Dane Muench scored the winner for Regina.

The Broncos only had six combined shots in the second period and first ten minutes of the third. Novotny finished with 3 points while Evans and Justin Dowling chipped in two each.

Swift Current hosts Prince Albert on Friday.
