The Broncos and Wheat Kings take part in a Remembrance Day ceremony prior to Friday's game at Westman Place in Brandon

The Swift Current Broncos suffered their third-straight loss, dropping a 4-1 decision to the Brandon Wheat Kings on the road Friday afternoon.

The Wheat Kings burst out to a 4-0 lead by the second period on goals from Dominick Favreau, Ryley Miller, Paul Ciarelli, and Mark Stone. Shea Howorko got his first of the season in the second period to put the Broncos on the board, but that was as close as they could get.

Jon Groenhyde started in net for the Broncos and made 27 saves, but was pulled after two periods for Austin Smith, who stopped all 19 shots he faced.

The Broncos head back home Saturday when they face the Moose Jaw Warriors on Eagle 94.1 Retro Night, and the Broncos will wear a new retro-themed jersey for the game.

Face-off is at 7:00pm from the Credit Union iplex, with coverage on the Eagle 94.1 FM starting at 6:30pm.
