The Swift Current Broncos dropped a 5-2 decision to the sophomore Edmonton Oil Kings at the Credit Union iplex last night.

     Keegan Dansereau and Matt Tassone scored for the Broncos, while the Oil Kings got a pair of goals from Jeff Lee, with Rhett Rachinski, Clayton Cumiskey, and Brent Raedeke each getting singles.

     Mark Guggenberger and Travis Yonkman combined for 30 saves in the Broncos' goal, while Torrie Jung got the win for the Oil Kings, making 27 saves.

     The Broncos, with a 9-5-0-0 record, now sit at second in the East Division, which is one point behind the Saskatoon Blades, as they get set to host the Portland Winterhawks for the first and only time this season.  You can hear the game on the Eagle 94.1FM with the pre-game show at 7:00pm, and the play-by-play from Jon Keen and Tim Tisdale at 7:30pm.
