After months of planning and weeks of training camp, the WHL season officially opens for the Swift Current Broncos tonight in Moose Jaw.
Full Interview with Adam Lowry"I expect them to come out flying in their home opener, you know obviously it's the season opener and they don't want to lose that game in their rink and we want to to start the season off with a win and if we can get back to back win's that would be huge for us," said New Captain Adam Lowry.
"They're a strong defensive team. They have one of the best top forwards in the league and if we can get on their younger forwards and they have a rookie goalie, and if we can some pressure on him early we can be successful."
Swift Current won 2 out of 3 against Moose Jaw in the pre-season and will also play the Warriors tomorrow night at the Credit Union iPlex. That record is thrown out the window tonight.
