In a week that already has seen a comeback win over the Calgary Hitmen, and a WHL Goalie of the Week nod to Stuart Skinner, the Swift Current Broncos received another weekly accolade this afternoon.

The Broncos were named the WHL's top team, and the third-best nation-wide in the weekly CHL Top 10 power rankings.

Leapfrogging the Moose Jaw Warriors on the list, although still not in the WHL standings, the Broncos have now gone 7-2-1-0 in their last 10 games and are winners of 11-straight at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

The Warriors, now fourth on the list after a #2 ranking last week, are 6-4-0-0 in their last 10, and play the struggling Kootenay ICE in Cranbrook tonight.

Meanwhile, the Broncos look to continue their home ice advantage with a pair of home games this coming weekend.

The Broncos host the Prince Albert Raiders for the final time this season Friday at 7 p.m., then welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings to town Saturday at 7 p.m.

The two games are the fifth and fourth-last home games of the 2017-18 season, respectively.
