The Broncos know they won't make the WHL playoffs this season, but they are still looking to finish on a high.

Swift Current has points in seven of their last eleven games as they prepare to face the Raiders in a home and home. The two-game set starts Friday night in Prince Albert and finishes up on Saturday night at the Credit Union iPlex.

The Raiders are also out of playoff contention.

Each team has three wins in the season series, while the Broncos have earned points in all six games between the two clubs. Four of the games went to at least overtime.

"They've got some really talented players," said Broncos forward Adam Rossignol. "They've got some high offensive skill. Every time we match up with them it's fairly even. If we can shut down their top guys and (with) our depth everyone plays well I like our chances. We know they're going to be tight games so we have to go in and work as hard as we can."

Rossignol scored the winning goal when Swift Current beat Kootenay 4-3 on Tuesday.

The games with the Raiders may also feature the debut of Broncos prospect Brycen Martin. The 15-year-old was called up for te final four games of the regular season.

"I'm excited," Martin said. "Everyone wants to play their first game after being drafted. Hopefully I get a look at how fast the league is, how hard hitting the league is. Hopefully I get a chance to showcase some of my talent out here and get a couple of wins."

Swift Current drafted Martin second overall in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft. He spent the season with the Midget AAA Calgary Buffaloes, while also playing for Team Alberta at the U16 tournament and Team Canada at the Youth Olympics.

"They were unlike anything I've ever been involved in before," Martin said. "Suiting up in the Canada jersey... there's nothing like it."

There is no official word yet on if Martin will make his debut on Friday night. Tune in to our pre-game show to find out for sure. The broadcast starts at 6:30pm Friday and Saturday nights on The Eagle 94.1 FM.

Saturday's contest will be the second last home game of the season as the Broncos wrap 2011-2012 up the following weekend with a home and home series against Saskatoon.
