Coda Gordon had his second straight three point game as the Swift Current Broncos beat the Prince Albert Raiders 5-2 on Saturday.

The win put Prince Albert twelve points behind the Broncos for the third and final playoff spot in the WHL East Division likely ending any chances the Raiders have of catching them.

Moose Jaw fell 4-2 in Prince George on Saturday so the Warriors fell to ten points back of Swift Current.

Colby Cave, Brett Lernout, Carter Rigby and Jake DeBrusk each had a goal and an assist in the win for the Broncos.

Landon Bow made 29 saves to complete a solid weekend for him in goal as he stopped 35 in a 4-2 win over Red Deer on Friday.

The Broncos got their power play going as they went 3 for 5 on the night while holding Prince Albert to 0 for 5.

It was the first time this season the Broncos had earned a regulation win over the Raiders and Prince Albert had won four of the previous five games.

The Broncos had to come from behind to earn the win on Saturday as Swift Current product Tim Vanstone and Austin Glover gave the Raiders a 2-0 lead in the first period. Cave's goal early in the second period after the Broncos had juggled their lines propelled them to five unanswered strikes and the victory.

Swift Current will host Sam Reinhart and the Kootenay Ice on Tuesday to wrap up a five game homestand.
