Two third period powerplay goals pushed the Broncos past the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-2 last night.

The visiting Thunderbirds took a 2-1 lead into the third period but ran into a string of penalties midway through and the Broncos took advantage.

Keegan Dansereau scored back-to-back goals on the five-on-three powerplay just 1:20 apart to put the Broncos into the lead for good.

Matt Tassone scored the other Broncos goal while Travis Yonkman made 34 saves for the win between the pipes.  The victory snapped a five game losing streak as they improve to 15-10.

The Broncos host the rival Regina Pats tomorrow night for Pack the 'Plex night.
