The Swift Current Broncos are looking for another home run in today's CHL Import Draft.

The Broncos have found some very valuable players in recent drafts like Richard Nedomlel, Eetu Laurikainen, Julius Honka and Artyum Minulin.

The team isn't concerned that Mark Lamb's recent exit as Coach/GM will hinder their efforts today.

"The work for the import draft was put in quite a while ago," said Broncos assistant general manager Jamie Porter. "It's ongoing but we've been working on it for quite a while. Mark's decision to move on hasn't impacted our import draft at all."

The Broncos pick 10th among CHL teams this morning.

They are likely looking for a top six forward with Minulin lated to return for next season.

They released forward Gustav Olhaver after the season to open up an import slot.

The draft gets underway at 9am.
