After 11 days off, the Broncos held an evening practice at the iplex to get the second half of the season started.

The players reported to the ice yesterday as they come off the long mid-season break.  The team skated for about an hour.  For many, it was their first time back on the ice since their last game in Seattle on December 15th.

The Broncos have 35 games left; 22 of them will be on home ice in the second half.  They sit in 8th place in the Eastern Conference, and know that a fresh mentality will be needed after limping into the Christmas break with losses to Portland and Seattle at the end of their US Division road swing.

The Broncos host Medicine Hat tomorrow night to begin the second half of the season.  It's the start of a weekend home-and-home set with the Tigers.  Face-off is tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
