Despite playing in the Subway Super Series, Adam Lowry will not be taking part in the upcoming selection camp for Canada's 2012 World Junior team

Expect to see quite a few new faces on Canada's national junior team next month as Hockey Canada announced its selection camp roster yesterday for the 2012 World Junior Hockey Championship.

Only three players from last year's silver medal-winning team are on this year's list.Jaden Schwartz, Quinton Howden and Mark Visentin. Players such as Erik Gudbranson, Brett Connolly, Ryan Johansen and Sean Couturier are committed to playing with their NHL teams.

Forwards Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Devante Smith-Pelly, who have full-time spots in Edmonton and Anaheim, were also left off the selection camp roster.

16 WHL players will be among those fighting for a position on this year's team, unfortunately no members of the Broncos received an invite. A full list of invitees can be found here.
