The Swift Current Broncos have signed another member of their 2019 WHL Bantam Draft Class.

The Broncos announced Monday afternoon that they signed forward Josh Filmon to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Filmon was selected in the fourth round (67th overall) by the Broncos in 2019 after a sturdy season with Rink Hockey Academy's Bantam Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League.

The Winnipeg-born forward then moved to the RHA Elite 15s team in the CSSHL for the 2019-20 season.

As an alternate captain this year, Filmon was second on his team in scoring. He had 21 goals and 40 points in 36 regular-season games, adding a goal and three points in two playoff games. Filmon added an assist in one game playing up with Rink's Midget Prep team.

On draft day, Filmon was listed as a 5-foot-9, 129-pound prospect. He's now shot up to 6-foot-1 and 139 pounds.
