The Saskatoon Blades scored 4 goals in the third period and went on to a 7-4 win over the Broncos, as the teams split the weekend home and home set.

The Blades were up 2-1 after the first period as Josh Nicholls and Derek Hulak scored after Cody Eakin got his WHL best 37th of the season to open the scoring for Swift Current. Walker Wintoneak would put the Blades up 3-1 before the Broncos got 2 goals back in the second period. Taylor Vause scored in his third straight game, and then Matt Tassone would tie it up after two periods.

In the final frame Saskatoon once again went up by a goal as Hulak would get his second of the night. Swift Current responded again as Tassone's second of the game tied it at 4, but the Blades answered right back and scored within the next minute. Saskatoon would go on to add another, and then the empty netter.
