The Swift Current Broncos begin a five-game road swing in Beautiful British Columbia as they visit the Prince George Cougars tonight.

As with all the Western Conference teams, this will be the Broncos' only matchup with the Cougars this season. Swift Current lost their last meeting with Prince George 6-2 at home in February.

The Broncos are also coming off two losses at home last weekend, dropping a 5-1 decision to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday and then losing 5-2 to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday to fall to 2-and-2. The Cougars are 1-and-3 on the young WHL season after losing both their games last weekend.

"They've had a couple of rough games, so they're going to be ready for us, that's for sure," said Broncos Coach and GM Mark Lamb. "We've had a couple games where we haven't been that good in, so we're going to be ready for that."

The Broncos are expected to have newly-acquired defenceman Ayrton Nikkel in the lineup for tonight's game. Nikkel joins the Broncos after being traded from Saskatoon on Monday in exchange for defenceman Cole Bevan and a 7th-round Bantam Draft pick in 2015.

You can hear the action on the Eagle 94.1, starting with the pre-game show at 7:30pm, and face-off at 8:00pm.
