It took extra time on the clock, but the Swift Current Broncos managed to edge one past the Prince Albert Raiders last night 4-3 in overtime.
Broncos goaltender Mark Friesen made 37 saves for his ninth win this year, and question marks prior to the game Justin Dowling and Cody Eakin hammered a couple in, with Dowling earning first star of the game.
The Broncos have the rest of the weekend off, and they'll host the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday night.
