On their fourth game in five days the Swift Current Broncos seemed to run out of gas in the first period against Calgary.

The Hitmen scored twice on the power play and took a 3-1 lead after 1, then held on the rest of the way for a 5-1 victory.

Ryon Moser scored the lone Swift Current goal. It was his third in two games.

The Broncos outshot the Hitmen 29-27 but Swift Current's dangerous power play was held off the board in five opportunities.

Swift Current went 2-2 in their four games over the week, theyl host Calgary for a re-match tomorrow at home.
