Canada continued their undefeated run at the Ford World Women's Curling Championships with a big 10-9 win over the defending champions from China on Monday night.

Jennifer Jones made a clutch shot to score two on her final stone in the tenth end to seal their fifth win in as many games.  Jones said post-game, she enjoys playing close games like these, and they haven't had many games where it came down to the last rock.  She adds that making those late-game shots builds confidence, and it's good heading into the latter part of the week.

Meanwhile, the reigning champs are at 1-4, and dangerously close to missing the playoffs.  Chinese Skip Bingyu Wang is still holding out hope that they'll play for a medal, but they need to do a good job and win the games.

All of the other games in Draw 8 ended after eight ends.  Denmark beat Switzerland 8-3, Scotland defeated Sweden 7-3, and Germany won 10-4 over Norway, who wore those colourful pants once again.

Draw 9 goes bright and early Tuesday morning, and Canada will play Denmark in one of four games on the ice.  The others have Sweden taking on Germany, Switzerland battling China, and Norway versus Scotland.  It starts at 8:30am from the Credit Union iplex.
