A tough loss for Canada at the Four Nations women's hockey tournament in Sweden.

 

Canada dropped a 4-3 decision to the United States in the gold medal game.  American goalie Jessie Vetter stopped Canada forward and Shaunavon-native Hayley Wickenheiser to end the shootout.

 

Wickenheiser had two assists in regulation to wrap up the tournament with a goal and six points. Swift Current's Bobbi Jo Slusar was also on the squad, and recorded one assist on the goal scored by Wickenheiser.
