Disappointment for the Canadian Under-18 hockey team, as they dropped a 6-4 decision to the Russians in Sunday morning's World Championship bronze medal game in Germany.

Broncos defenceman Reece Scarlett was on the team, and coach Mark Lamb was an assistant. Canada settles for fourth, while the USA and Sweden battle for gold later Sunday.

Meanwhile, Shaunavon's Hayley Wickenheiser, Swift Current's Bobbi Jo Slusar, and Team Canada will go for gold at the World Women's Hockey Championships in Switzerland. Wickenheiser and Slusar connected for a goal in Saturday's 4-1 semi-final win over Finland.

Canada faces the USA for gold at 12:00 noon Monday.
