Canada faced some adversity in a 6-3 win over Slovakia at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Russia this morning.

JC Lipon and Anthony Camara each got game misconducts, leaving Canada with 10 forwards and a 3-1 deficit in the second, but rallied with three goals in the last half of the middle frame and two more in the third to stay unbeaten.

Ryan Strome had a pair of goals, while Morgan Reilly of the Moose Jaw Warriors had a goal and two helpers. Canada takes on the USA on Sunday.

Earlier this morning, Finland dropped a 3-1 decision to the Czech Republic. Broncos goalie Eetu Laurikainen is on the Finnish squad as a backup. Finland faces Switzerland on Sunday.
