Team Canada will play for gold at the World Women's Hockey Championships in Switzerland, after knocking off Finland 4-1 in Saturday's semi-final.

Shaunavon's Hayley Wickenheiser had a goal, and Swift Current's Bobbi Jo Slusar had one of the assists on it. Canada faces the winner of the other semi-final between Russia and the USA in Monday's gold medal game.

Meanwhile, it was heartbreak for Broncos Defenseman Reece Scarlett, coach Mark Lamb and the Under-18 team, who lost to the USA 5-4 in overtime in their world semi-final saturday in Germany. Canada came back from a 4-1 third-period deficit with three unanswered goals, including two in the final two minutes, to force OT. Canada plays against Russia for bronze Sunday.
