Aaron Rome and the Canucks got the second round off to a good start
(BN) Former Bronco Aaron Rome and the Vancouver Canucks showed no signs of being tired in their series opener against Nashville. After just one day of rest following an emotional seven-game opening round series against the Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver outworked the Predators for a 1-nothing victory in Western Conference semifinal series. Chris Higgins scored in the second period and goaltender Roberto Luongo stopped 20 shots for Vancouver.
