Former Swift Current Broncos captain Colby Cave was claimed off waivers by the Edmonton Oilers today.

Cave scored his first ever NHL goal earlier this season with the Boston Bruins, and added four assists over 20 games.
He also had 18 points in 15 games with the AHL's Providence Bruins, in his fourth season at the level, and third as one of the team's alternate captains.
A fan-favourite, Cave had 210 points in 302 total games over four seasons in Swift Current (2011-15), where he served the final two of those years as the Broncos' captain.
