Yesterday he was the WHL Goaltender of the Week, and now Swift Current Broncos newest netminder, Stuart Skinner, has been named the CHL Goalie of the Week as well.

Skinner's first pair of starts between the pipes for Swift were certainly worthy of the award, as he stopped 49 of 50 shots to the tune of a .980 save percentage, 0.50 GAA, and 2-0 record in wins against Prince Albert and Edmonton.

The 6-foot-4 goaltender also makes the Broncos the second CHL team to have two separate goalies garner the weekly honours, after former Bronco Logan Flodell picked up the award for Week 4 (October 9-15).

They join the Everett Silvertips' Carter Hart (Weeks 10-12) and Dustin Wolf (Week 6), although both Hart and Wolf still find themselves on the same roster.

Skinner and the Broncos will face that Silvertips squad on Sunday as part of their U.S. road trip, but not before they kick off that five-game set south of the border Wednesday night against the Tri-City Americans.
