The Swift Current Broncos traded their third forward in the month of November yesterday, linking up with the Regina Pats.

After Joona Kiviniemi and Ben King were dealt last week to the Vancouver Giants and Red Deer Rebels respectively, the Broncos traded Carter Chorney to the Pats.

The 2001-born Chorney is a former second-round pick (39th in 2016) of the Spokane Chiefs, and recorded a combined 14 goals and 26 points over 62 games between the Chiefs and Broncos last year. He had just one goal and five points in 17 games with the Broncos in his 18-year-old season.

In return, the Broncos get Sam McGinley, a 2002-born blueliner. McGinley was a fifth-round pick (92nd) by the Pats in 2017.

He had an assist in three games last year with the club, but was held scoreless in eight games this year.

The Broncos are back to league play Saturday night at home to the Moose Jaw Warriors.
