Local Boxer Jarid Clarke was victorious in his first bout of the Junior/Youth Canadian Championships yesterday in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec.
Clarke, representing Saskatchewan, won by points over Travis Benoit of Nova Scotia in the 57-kg Junior Male Category.
His second bout of the tournament happens later today, as he fights Zach Ridgwell of Ontario tonight at 6:00pm our time.
