Cody Eakin is coming back to Swift Current.

The Washington Capitals have re-assinged last year's Broncos leading scorer to the WHL club after an extended stay at NHL training camp.

Eakin scored twice in three pre-season games and was named third star in Tuesday night's win over Boston.

But the 19 year old isn't eligable for the American Hockey League yet so he was either going to stay with the Capitals all season or return to Swift.

Eakin scored 47 goals and had 91 points for the Broncos last season.

Eakin will be in the line-up for tomorrow's game against PA.

Caps also reassigned former bronco Lawrence Nycholat to the AHL.
