It was a busy night yesterday as multiple high school football games were in action in the southwest area.

The Swift Current Comprehensive Colts, coming off of a one-sided win of 51-15 against Estevan, took on the Yorkton Raider Gridders.

Heading into the game, the Raider Gridders were undefeated at four and zero, matching the Colts number of wins with a record of four and one.

Swift Current was on the wrong side of victory this time, coming short and taking a 51-7 loss.

The last game of the regular season, the Colts will enter the postseason in third place in the Moose Jaw High School Football League.

The Colts will rematch Estevan as their first game of the postseason.

Estevan is rated the sixth in the league.

In other SWAC football action last night, the nine-man Maple Creek team won in their contest against Shaunavon 33-6, while Gull Lakes six man Lions team lost to Hanley 72 to 22
