The high school track and field season is underway at the Comp.

This Saturday, they will host their invitational meet by welcoming two schools from Moose Jaw, Lloydminster, and a few others from across the southwest.

Gord Husband is the Head Coach, and he is looking forward to the 11-week season.  "We really had a turn-around season last year, with 26 athletes progressing two Provincials from our team here at the Comp," stated Husband.  "We've got some real nice veteran leadership with Tenille Gering and Meagan Rumpel.  On the boys' side Matt Bazin has stepped up nicely.  Those three athletes would be predicted medal favorites for Provincials in June."

After the Comp's invitational meet, they head to meets in Lloydminster and Moose Jaw before beginning the road to Provincials.
