The Cyclones in action

The re-born Cypress Cylones Junior B hockey club held their first training camp in Irvine, Alberta this past weekend.

General Manager Sean Chapman says they were impressed by the amount of local talent available.

He says the talent level is similar to what it was before their time away from the Prairie Junior Hockey League.

Chapman notes they are bringing back five guys who played for the Cyclones before the franchise took a break.

He is also bringing in a few players off of the K-Motal Midget AA Hurricanes team that he coached last year.

The Cyclones are participating in a tournament against some  Alberta Junior B teams this weekend.
