The Swift Current Broncos are hoping Keegan Dansereau can be an offensive leader.

The Saskatoon native scored the game-winner Saturday night against the Moose Jaw Warriors and has three points in his first two games.

Dansereau is not only an overage player this season, he's actually the oldest player in the WHL with his January 1st birthdate.  "Yeah I guess... when I was young I looked up to the 20s as being old... I guess I'm the old guy now," said Dansereau following practice.

The Saskatoon native was acquired exactly a year ago in a big trade with the Calgary Hitmen.  For more information on this story, visit www.jonkeen.blogspot.com.

The Broncos host Saskatoon Friday night at the Credit Union iplex.
