The Okotoks Dawgs scored four runs in the third inning and then held off the Swift Current Indians for a 5-2 win Sunday night at Mitchell Field.

The Indians committed a two-out error in the third inning which extended things.  Okotoks then hit back-to-back home runs, including a three-run homer off Indians starter Brian Strawn.

"You make an error and whatever happened... it is what it is. We couldn't move past it," commented Indians Head Coach Joe Carnahan.

"Give their guys credit, they scored four runs with two outs and they came up with some clutch hits today."

The Indians loss coupled by Regina's 5-2 win over Weyburn means the Indians lead for the best overall WMBL regular season title is down to only a 1/2 game.  Regina is 29-12 while the Indians are 29-11 with just a couple games remaining.
