It was a day of mixed results yesterday for Swift Current's Kelsey Dutton at the Viterra Scotties in Prince Albert.

Coming off of a victory in her opening game on Wednesday, Dutton took on the top two ranked teams in Pool 'B' yesterday.

In her first game of the day, Dutton took on Saskatoon's Sherry Anderson.

Despite trailing most of the first five ends, Dutton turned the game around in the 6th.

Down 3-1, Dutton made a tough double take-out to count four, going from down two to up two.

Then in the 7th, Anderson crashed on a guard with her final rock leading to a steal of two for Dutton and a 7-3 lead.

The two teams would shake hands after the 8th, as Anderson came up light on a draw extending Dutton's lead to 10-3.

After getting a few hours off, Dutton returned to the ice last night to battle Regina's Michelle Englot.

Englot blanked the 1st end and then scored her pair in the 2nd to take an early 2-0 lead.

Then in the 3rd, momentum really shifted away from Dutton, as she stuck on a blank attempt, forcing the Swift Current rink to take a single point  and relinquish the hammer.

With Englot leading 3-2 in the 7th, the Regina crew picked up their second deuce of the game to take a commanding 5-2 lead.

Dutton would go on to score a single in 8, but another two points for Englot in 9 would give her a 7-3 lead coming home, before running Dutton out of rocks in the final end.

The Swift Current rink now sits third place in Pool 'B'.

Their 2-1 record trails only Michelle Englot (2-0) and Robyn Silvernagle (2-0).

Dutton will have a chance this morning to put the first loss in Silvernagle's record, as she'll battle the North Battleford skip at 10:00am.

In other action from last night's draw, Silvernagle defeated Mandy Selzer 9-1, Stefanie Lawton defeated Nancy Inglis 8-4 and Kristie Moore defeated Nancy Martin 7-6.
