There's still room for about 30 golfers for the annual Labour Day Match Play Championship this weekend.

Approximately 80 golfers have signed up for the annual tournament at the Elmwood.

It's their biggest event of the year, and Elmwood General Manager Sheldon Reinhart says they will even make time for the Labour Day Classic football game on Sunday.  "What we plan to do between rounds and the horse race is to have a little Riders party in the clubhouse, so we have some things planned there.  We're looking forward to it."

Registration for the tournament is $200 for non-members, and $100 for members.  It includes three or four rounds of golf, and all of the meals throughout the weekend.  To register, you can call the Pro Shop at 773-2722.
