Daegan Wall of Regina fired a final round 68 to claim the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour Saskatchewan Season Opener and first event on the SGI CANADA Junior Order of Merit Tour at Elmwood Golf and Country Club in Swift Current. With the win, Wall picks up 500 OMT points.

After an opening round 76, the Regina golfer sat six shots back after the first day.  Bengough's Tyrin Foley held the first round lead but followed his opening round 70 with a 77 on day two to finish in fourth place.

Coronach's Riley Grona made a push on day two firing a 69 to finish one back in a tie for second with Prince Albert's Zach Hurd who went 72-73.

In the 12 and under boys Brendan Kesterke of Headingley, MB won with two-day total of 147 (75-72).  Regina's Noah Kozack was the top Saskatchewan finisher (2nd) with an 80-75 155 to pick up 400 Order of Merit points.

On the girls side, Winnipeg, MB's Jenna Roadley fired an impressive two day 146 (71-75) to win the championship.  Coronach's Sydney Elder finished third with a 104-91 195 to be the top Saskatchewan finisher.

The top finishers from Swift Current were Jessy-Lee Lacher (6th in Boys 17-19) and Erykah Pool (4th in Girls).
