The Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires were on the road last night in Regina looking for revenge after the Pat Canadians beat them 5-3 at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex on October 31.

The Legionnaires fell 4-1 in the game, but the stat line was a bit misleading as to how evenly-matched the game really was.

Neither team could solve the opposing netminder through the first two periods, as a 0-0 score was carried into the third.

Legionnaires forward Ty Muench opened scoring 58 seconds into the final frame on a feed from Hunter Lamb and Jacob Piller, a mark that would stand until a Pat Canadians' power-play goal with 5:29 left in the game to tie it up.

Regina would take the lead with under two minutes left, forcing Swift to pull their goalie and try to tie up the 2-1 game.

However, an empty-net goal 28 seconds later, and another 39 seconds after that closed out the scoring, as the Legionnaires are now 0-2-0-2 in their last four games.

Swift Current out-shot the Pat Canadians 25-21. Cody Levesque made 19 saves for the Legionnaires.

The Legionnaires (9-6-0-2) look to get a regulation win for the first time since November 3 when they travel to Yorkton for games on Saturday and Sunday against the Maulers (7-6-1-1).
