Gary Etcheverry has stepped down as defensive assistant coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Etcheverry has spent three seasons coaching with the Riders, serving as defensive co-ordinator in 2009 and 2010.
The team made the announcement today, citing personal and family committments as the cause for the resignation. They add Etcheverry plans to pursue business opportunities outside of football.
