The Evans Brothers Home Hardware 'AAA' Midget Legionnaires are now prepping for their exhibition schedule, following the completing of their Fall Camp over the weekend.

Approximately 70 skaters took part in the camp which featured multiple scrimmages and 2 black and white games.

Head Coach of the Legionnaires, Mike Rossiter said one aspect of the camp really stood out to him.

"The big thing for me was, how tough the competition was at every position. In our 2 black and white games. The first one was a 5-5 tie, and the second one was 8-6. The second game got pretty intense, which as a coaching staff was certainly something we wanted to see. It left us with extremely difficult decisions to make afterwards in the exit interviews with the players," he said.

Rossiter added, roughly 90% of the roster has now been determined, but a few tough decisions remain.

"We've got a couple of positions that we are going to have a better look at in the exhibition season with the forwards and we haven't quite settled on the goaltending position firmly yet," he mentioned.

The Legionnaires first exhibition game will be in Moose Jaw on September 12, before returning to Swift Current, to battle Moose Jaw again at Fairview on September 13th.
