After waiting 18 years, Saskatchewan is again home to the top team in the Canadian Football League.

Downtown Swift Current was the place to be last night, as fans drove along Central Avenue honking horns and waving flags, after the Riders' 23-19 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 95th Grey Cup.

Riders' Defensive Back James Johnson was named the game's Most Valuable Player following a 3-interception performance, one of which resulted in a touchdown.

In addition, Riders' Slotback Andy Fantuz was named the game's Top Canadian.

Last night's win marked only the third Grey Cup win in Saskatchewan Roughriders' franchise history; the last win happened back in 1989.
