His adventure south might not be going as planned, but Andy Fantuz finally saw the field with the NFL's Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football last night.
The former Saskatchewan Roughrider had one catch for six yards with 2:15 left in the fourth quarter of the Bears 41-13 loss to the New York Giants at New Medowlands Stadium.
It was the first time the Canadian receiver got into game action since heading south in an attempt to crack the NFL roster.
Fantuz dressed, but didn't play in Chicago's first preseaon game last week.
