The Swift Current Broncos are going retro in order to try and recapture some old playoff magic.

When it comes to playoff hair, there have been a few options we've seen over the years, such as bleached blonde, jet black, or shaved off.

This year, the Broncos are going back to the 80s and bringing back the mullet.  "I don't know who started it; I think it was (Broncos' Captain Derek Claffey) Claff, and then everyone followed.  We have a picture of the 89 Broncos Memorial Cup team, and we noticed a lot of them had mullets, so hopefully it works out," said Eric Doyle, whose mullet is at the beginner's stage.

For Broncos Head Coach and General Manager Dean Chynoweth, the hairstyle hits close to home.  "I think it's quite funny... but I played in that era, and maybe still have that hair a little bit," said Chynoweth with a laugh.  "The guys are having fun with it, and it's a good way to stay loose."
