The Swift Current Female Midget AA Broncos earned one of a possible four points on the road this past weekend.

In Melville taking on the Parkland Fire, the Female Midget Broncos drew 4-4 on Saturday, then falling 5-2 to the home team on Sunday.

Saturday's game saw Parkland lead 1-0 through the first, and 2-1 through the second.

After the Female Broncos responded with three-straight to start the third, Parkland put home the tying goal with 6:17 remaining.

Autumn Nimegeers led the way for Swift Current with two goals and three points. Jenna Olfert added two helpers, while other goals came from Paris Appel and Kayla Keith.

Aurora Van Wormer stopped 29 shots in the tie.

Sunday saw Swift Current take the 1-0 lead early, though they ended up trailing 2-1 after the first. Parkland then jumped ahead 4-1 after two, before the two teams traded goals midway through the third.

Allison Wall was in net for the loss, with goals at the other end coming from Nimegeers and Rio Runcie.

The Female Midget AA Broncos are off until February 6, when they host the Regina Rebels for a weekday matchup. It's their second-last game of the regular season.
