A tale of two teams trending in opposite directions continued Wednesday night at Fairview East arena, as the Full Line Ag Female Midget AA Broncos hosted the Notre Dame Hounds.

The Female Broncos, who came into the game unbeaten in November so far (3-0-3) stayed strong, beating the winless Hounds 4-1. The Hounds (0-6-1) have just a single point on the season after tying the Moose Jaw Mavericks 1-1 on October 14.

While quadrupling up the away side, the Female Broncos put a pile of pucks on the Notre Dame net. They out-gained the Hounds complete-game shot total in two of three periods to the tune of a 60-18 effort.

Goals on the night came from Chelsea Wilson, Jenna Olfert and Kalea Sauder in the first period, while Bailey Wilson added the fourth in the final period.

Sauder, Bailey Wilson, Josie Calwell and Jannae Carlson all added single assists, while Chloe Hess got the win in net for the Female Broncos.

Swift Current (5-3-4) is on their lone day off between games as they're back on the road Friday for a rematch with the Hounds at Notre Dame, before two more road games Saturday and Sunday in southeastern Saskatchewan against the Weyburn Drillers.
