Fairview East has been a tough place to play so far this season for the Full Line Ag Female Midget AA Broncos.

After winning their first two games of the season on the road against the Parkland Lions, the Female Broncos lost and tied last weekend at home against the Estevan Bear Cats, and then dropped both contests again at home this weekend against the visiting Regina Ravens.

Saturday night's game saw a flurry of shots from Regina in a 6-0 Broncos loss. The Ravens out-shout Swift 59-23 in the game.

Sunday proved to be a much tighter tilt, as Regina jumped out to a 1-0 lead through the first 20 minutes of play.

The Ravens tacked on two more in the second to take a 3-0 lead, but Swift would battle back on goals from Josie Calwell and Bailey Wilson just 48 seconds apart to cut the deficit to just one.

Regina would jump ahead by two before the end of the second period on another goal.

Pressing hard in the third period in hopes of a comeback, Swift answered with 8:12 left to play courtesy of Chelsea Wilson who solved the Ravens netminder.

However, another goal couldn't materialize for the Female Midget Broncos, as they fell 4-3.

The Female Broncos (2-3-1) are on the road in Regina October 4 and 5 for games against the Capitals and Ravens.
