New Fruit Snacks Need A Name

First there was breakfast cereal, then potato chips and now, this summer, Co-op and the Saskatchewan Roughriders have teamed up to create a "Game-Day Approved" fruit snack.

The watermelon-flavoured, "S" shaped snack will feature Roughriders Receiver Weston Dressler on the packaging and, currently, there is a special contest is underway to name the new product.

Of all the entries received, potential names have been narrowed down to four Westermelon's, Dressler's Snackouts, Dressler's Sideline Snacks and Dressler Frootball Snacks.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of the fruit snacks, which will be available Co-op stores across the province, will be directed toward the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
