The Swift Current Broncos have put together their longest winning streak since November 2003.
They held on for a 3-2 win over a determined and hard-working Saskatoon Blades team. The win also pushes the Broncos within three points of fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Keegan Dansereau tied the game 1-1 with a powerplay marker in the second period. Levi Nelson and Erik Felde gave the Broncos a 3-1 lead on a pair of third period goals. Travis Yonkman made 35 saves for the victory.
The five-game winning streak is the longest of its kind under Head Coach and General Manager Dean Chynoweth.
